Creative Nonfiction

Creative nonfiction is a genre that continually expands. It encompasses memoir and a range of essay types that include lyric, braided, narrative, and hybrid (mixing poetry or fiction with non-fiction) works. I am partial to lyric essays because they combine my first love, poetry, with storytelling – “true stories well told,” some writer once said, which for me means conveying the meaning, mystery, and beauty of the ordinary. That is some of what you fill find here.
